ILEX Lens

Hi, all:
I have a question for you guys. I have a "ILEX PARAGON ANASTIGMAT f4.5 FOCUS 3 1/2 IN" lens. Is this a large format lens or an enlarge lens?

It is a lens for large format. I believe it may be a wide angle for 4x5, if not, it is a normal lens for 6x9 cm.

It's probably a Tessar type so won't cover 4x5.

If it's in a shutter, it's a medium format lens, as Dan indicated. But if it's in a barrel, it might be an enlarging lens. Either way, it's probably a decent enough lens for whatever format it will cover at whatever distance you're using it at.
