You've probably read my rants about the lack of good camera information and photos on the dealer and manufacturer websites. But I just stumbled upon this European dealer who has more photos of exotic things that I've never seen anywhere else - pity I can't read French.

For those who can read a little French there is a wealth of information on this site as well. There are also photos and specs on the lenses in the Fuji, Nikon, Schneider and Rodenstock lines. It is the most complete on-line catalog site I've seen.

Using "babelfish" http://world.altavista.com/ you can copy a block of text and paste it into the translator. Scroll down and choose French to English, then hit translate. While not always an exact translation or gramatically correct, you will get a good idea of the jist of the text.

If you go to the World Lingo website ( http://www.worldlingo.com/products_services/worldlingo_translator.html ) you can have the Galerie-Photo's entire web page translated. Just enter the non-commerical web address from Marco's post, and select "from" French and "to" English. It's not perfect, but works a little easier than the copy/paste text block method. Great site!
