I took photography classes and my loving big brother gave me an Omega B22 enlarger. Problem is, it is unassembled, and there is no manual. I have two lenses 50mm and 75mm. the bellows looks to be intact and the bulb lights. there are 2 condensers and I haven't a clue where they go. Can someone tell me or email me instructions. I don't want to hurt his feelings. he was so sweet.

It looks to be in very good shape. thanks janet

Harry's classic enlargers is a potential source for a manual. So is KHB. Both sell B22 etc. Both will service them and have spare parts.

I think for things Omega KHB has lower prices. But Harry runs a forum and is very willing to help with problems.

I can't help you with the condensor but if it's like other Omega enlargers it may be labeled on the enlarger itself.

Remove the light head with the two screws.

Remove the filter drawer

Put the first condenser in flat side down. Put the next condenser flat side up so that the convex sides are faceing eacjh other. There should be a slim spacer between them so that the glass does no touch each other.

This is what is needed for 645 and 6x6 negatives, for 35mm there should be another metal framed smaller conderser that fits flat side down on top of the other two. The 75mm lenses are for medium format work and the 50mm is for 35mm.

Hope this helps. Sam
