I use quickloads exclusively for my 4X5 photography. I've put about 1000 quickloads through my holder, and it still works fine. However, I've been thinking about picking up a backup holder to bring with me in case something goes wrong with it. To all those of you out there that use quickloads, how long, in terms of years and number of exposures, have your holders lasted? Thanks!

My guess replace it in 3 years, as the steel cap will wear the inside of the holser and might create minute micro channels for light leaks, and foreign matter in the film, due to plastic scraped off the sides.

I think mine is 4 to 5 years old.
