Hello everyone!

My name is Marcin Anton. I'm new on the forum. I am going to show some of my old works. I dropped out this technique toward pure photography, maybe it will be an inspiration to someone. I showed it on exhibitions in Poland, Germany and Sweden. 8x10 Ilford HP5, scanned and drawn digitally, digital baryt print, photographed 4x5 Ilford Delta, Darkroom job on a Foma baryt paper 40x50cm, toned sepia, painted with crayons, pastels and oils. Lot of work. Too much for me in this days.Thank you!

Titles, from the left: Dawn in the Gardens of Imagination (portrait of a polish actor H. Golebiewski); Long, Cold Winter (portrait of friend of mine P. Stanislawski); Springtime Awakenings (portrait of a polish actor A. Krolikowski); Wind.

Love your work. Maybe it will inspire some of us to move in a direction away from "pure" photography. :)

Marcin, thanks for coming to this site. I enjoyed your images, especially the wry sense of humor that occasionally peeks through. The scenes in south Poland show more rugged mountains than I thought were there - very beautiful area.

Marcin, just visited your site. Wonderful panoramic images. And I really like the mixed media images above. All very inspiring. I have been wanting to give the mixed media a try but I can't figure out how to get my brain to work that way. It's almost like there is a lock preventing access to the right side.

ps - get a hair cut :)

Did those two guys also come to borrow the lawn mower?
...................................................................................
Ha,ha! No, these guys don't like the complex tools . They like plain things like screwdrivers, pliers, axes etc. All this electric stuff is too sophisticated for them.

These images were made with a slight different technique. Shot on Ilford Delta 100, mounted as black and white, and hand painted color was added in Painter. Wacom tablet was very helpful in this task. The serie is called "Professionals"

This one is from the serie "The Long, Cold winter"
Here in Poland the winter is almost over, so let as dream about snow and a freezing cold.
I tried to show that winter is a tough season and everyone needs a big pack of hankies. The second one I've already posted, but this is a bigger image, and I think these two should be presented together. Thank you!
