Probably a long shot ... but I told the lady who has them that I would ask what lenses these waterhouse stops might go to. She intends to sell them in the near future. Here is her list:

1. JH DALLMEYER OPTICIAN London
VINTAGE 1900 SET of 4 Waterhouse Stops in Original Leather Case
3 3/4" wide by 5" tall, including the tab
These waterhouse stops are extra nice. Made of brass, tipped with shiny ends. Embossed with f11, f16, f22, f32.
[NOTE: I have no idea why she writes "vintage 1900."]

2. Set of 4 with demolished case. Unmarked. They don't fit in it because the leather is hardened, bottom and top missing of case. But it seems the right size and I think they must have come in it originally.
2 1/8" wide by 2 29/32” tall, including tab
embossed on tabs f11, f22, f32, f44

3. Handmade set of 4, unmarked
2 7/8" wide by 4 7/32" tall, including tab
No f-stop markings

4. 1 unmarked with tab
3" wide by 4 7/32" tall, including tab
Hole approx 1 3/4"

5. 1 unmarked with tab
3 1/4" wide by 4 19/32" tall, including tab
f/16 embossed on tab

Have you measured the openings to correlate the sets to a focal length, at least?

Now why didn't I think of that? ... I'll ask her to do that.

You should be able to find the lens for the Dallmeyer stops.
Many stop sets for the early Dallmeyers were designed for multi-type lenses. That is, the same set fitted a large RR, a D and a C type Petzval.
There is a previous post on this (3 years ago?). As long as this one fits in the slot, the apertures can be relabelled.

Thanks, Steven ... she never did get the individual hole sizes to me ... and now they've popped up on ebay, if anybody is looking for these ... theyre too big for anything I own that needs waterhouse stops.
