Darkroom cleaning

Unfortunately it is time to deep clean the Darkroom. I want to remove the loose gear and do a good cleaning on the floors, cabinets,etc. Maybe even repaint the walls. I also need to clean the trays and empty storage bottles. The chemicals may chenge after cleaning the bottles. My wife, rightly so, says it is my mess -deal with it.

Does anyone have any suggestions for cleaners or tricks to shorten the process?

I wish you luck... Start by removing everything from the darkroom that you do not actually use in the darkroom. (I should get the sewing machine out of there for example). Vacuum/wipe down the ceiling first, because if you do it last you will just drop dust on everything.

Top down, simple green can clean anything.
