I4ve got a chance of buying a Plaubel Peco Supra 4x5" with a Linhof Symmar 150/5 .6 convertible(to 265mm). It is i good condition, and comes with a handfull of a lmost new filmholders. Anyone have experience with either the camera or the lens? Does it work well, compared to todays newer equipment, and how old is it? Can I use a Polaroid 545 on the camera, and aprox. how much this outfit worth? Hope for some info. With regards Michael Vestergaard

I have a Plaubel Peco Universal ll, which is a alumumin mono rail system which can go from 4x5 to 8x10. I use it as an 8x10. I do not know if the "Supra" falls into this category, but you should know that Plaubel Peco view cameras have very little retail value. After getting a good deal on mine, I called 12 different camera stores to varify my bargain- no one would touch them- not even on a trade! Seems they stopped making them in the 60s and there are no parts available. I love my camera- but I will suggest that you do not pay over 150-200 with a perfect bellows- post me if you have more questions

The handful of filmholders is non-sense Michael. Comes with every second-hand deal in LF.
