8 x 10 Kardan Bi issue

I have an 8 x 10 Bi and the various small locking levers (for example on front swing) as well as the locks for center tilt and rear base tilt are all a bit on the loose side - they hold but it doesn't take much for them to slip - they don't lock up anywhere near as tightly as the corresponding locks on my 5 x 7 Bi

Is there a simple way to adjust these to tighten them up, or will the camera have to go in for repair?
