Corner mount 4x5 print to 11x14 4-ply rag board and cut window mat with 4 ply rag board, bright white. The two boards are hinged at the long side with tyvek (polyester) tape. Matted prints for sale put in clear envelopes.

If I am presenting a small number of prints I will have them in overmats. However, I have had "studio visits" by gallery owners and museum curators where I was showing literally hundreds of prints and I simply couldn't mat them all. In the case of people who are experienced at looking at art photo prints, who already hold you in some degree of esteem, where you have nothing to prove in terms of your professionalism, they can "previsualize" the prints matted and framed.

I dry-mount and mat. Like ROL, I wrote an article (http://rafal.net/2012/09/its-all-about-the-print/) about it on my blog.
