after about the 10th time writing to ebay sellers, thought I might post this (not intended as a negative) thought...
please don't open the box of film or paper, to count the remaining sheets, or to "prove" that there is paper in the box... then, list it "as-is"
closing your eyes, won't make it dark enough.,

Ha Ha!
Thus the reason I never buy paper or film off flea-bay!

One would think that they would know. But one would think lots of things.
Great, keep not buying it, more for me.
Just got a ton of 16x20 and 20x24 Ilford MGFB paper for pennies on the dollar. New, sealed, only a year or so old, stored properly.

If you do find examples of this, please send me a link (PM here is OK, or cameracraft1 at yahoo.com.au ) as I collect these at this site

Hilarious

I'm not 100% sure they will work either, now.

I too buy paper and film from EB. There are 3 reasons, only one of which is "use."
Over the past several months, I've noticed that a box of paper was resold "as-is," that had previously been demonstrated in the "eyes wide open" position.
different sellers -- I suspect that the second seller knew the paper was bad. S/he didn't show the contents, yet the outside markings (original for sale) ticket was on the box, and in the same position.
when I'm sitting on 1200 acres, 7 miles from concrete, it doesn't seem necessary, nor safe to be that greedy --- the Chihuahua desert has a way of punishing the selfish.
just a neighborly Marfa two fingers.
Ahahhahahaha! Priceless!:D:D

"looks to be in great condition", lol.
Just a question, do people contact this sellers and explain the error and that the item is ruin/lost/no value and no one (I think) will buy that?

I have tried so a couple of times - either with no reaction at all, or the sellers offering me the paper/film at some 10-20% off... :p

No, I'm sorry: if I'm going to buy film or paper over the internet from people I don't know, I want to see in advance what I'm buying. Spread it out in bright light (daylight is best,) so I can see every square inch. Yep, that's the way to do it.
