The # 1 size is uncommon. I'd say $ 2,000USD +/- a few hundred given that the # 2 has sold in the $ 1,000-1,500 range fairly regularly over the last 2 years

As CC said - these are uncommon - therefore, there is no sale data in the period the soft sales register has been in operation!

With this sort of item, it is a question of much the buyer wants it - against how much the seller thinks he can get from an enamored buyer.

I would say that the figure given by CC is a very rational price.
But many purchases/sales are not rational.

In this case it doesn't really matter because of the fantasy price.
I suppose "karcer" is the lister? His flickr images have certainly gone.
The e**y Polish lister is well known as a "unrealistic super-maximiser" and purchasers get an additional kick in the A**** as he has to add VAT on top. I can guess this is because he has been taken with his trousers down by the tax authorities long ago?

I don't believe karcer is the lister as I followed the auction on the Czech site ...

This is the same lens I reported sold for $1065 few days back ...

The uv guy is definitely another story ..

My apologies to Karcer - $1065 is a very OK price.

Correction ... The link below is not the same lens I reported sold on the Czech site for $1065 ... The latter one was a brass lens ... The linked one is painted black ...

This is the same lens I reported sold for $1065 few days back ...d.
