8x10 negatives? Won't happen. 8x10 prints? What format? Both those enlargers should do larger then 8x10 prints. That lens is likely for a fairly tiny format.

Larger trays? ;-)

I'm not quite sure what you're asking, Peter. Any enlarger will allow you to make a range of print sizes - usually up to 11x14 easily on the baseboard. Depending on the film format, and the corresponding lens focal length, and the height of the enlarger column, you might get up to 16x20. Beyond that, you may have to swivel the column around so you can project onto the floor, or do something else to increase the distance between the enlarger head and the easel.

If you could clarify your objectives, someone may have better answers for you.

I suspect that any question involving a b22 enlarger means you are lost in this forum. You can't even do 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 sheet film with that equipment.

With the B-22 if you enlarge 35mm negatives you will need a 50mm enlarging lens and the additional condenser lens to go inside the head. You use the additional condenser lens when enlarging 35mm negs. If you enlarge 6x6 negative you will need a 75mm enlarging lens and remove the additional condenser lens. To enlarge prints greater than 11x14 remove the locking screws swing the column around weight down the base board, reset the locking screws and project to the floor. You will then need a verrrry long arm to focus.
