Ok, I have been thinking of experimenting with my Toyo AII 45.
I have three MF Zeiss lenses, 50, 80, & 150. I want to take apart a 6003 or 6006 camera which doesn't work(read cheap) and take of the front mounting bayonet but retain the shutter timing mechanism intact(don't know if this is doable). And mount this to a lensboard.
They are very very nice lenses and I like what they do with a negative. A used PC lens for this system are in the $4K range(out of any realistic budget for me). I really just want tilt and shift capability for the Rollei system, and am not too concerned with coverage as long as its larger than 6x6(on the 4x5)I'm good. I can easily fix falloff or "none-off" with cropping.
My question is has anyone done anything like this?
Was it successful?
