Just curious the price of this lens. I saw at an auction website (http://page9.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k158724795) and when I searched from this lens I faced lots of different prices (between $750 and $40,000). What is your opinion?

It depends on the lens. Mine came from a huge batch used to track missile launches or some such thing. Most of those went for $300 - $400, were well worn and didn't have a shutter. By the time you put it in a shutter you are close to the bottom end of that range and still don't have the correct aperture scale. At the other end (usually $2000+) you get a Linhof select version in it's original shutter and in very good condition. Beyond that you are probably getting ripped off. FWIW back in 1972 the non-Linhof versions sold for $655 - about the same as a 300 Symmar or a 355 G-Claron.

I'd say a "fairy price" would be something like "a teaspoon of dewdrops wrapped in a wreath of foxglove blossoms"...but what do I know.

I'd ask the Easter Bunny. He'd know.
