Hey! The old beast has been sitting on a shelf in the garage for years. Yesterday I was able to get it mounted on the wall in my multi purpose room and here it is. Who knows how long it has been since this 5x7 enlarger has made a print but it is close now.

I need to set some kind of a table under it to set an easel on.

Nice! Do you have a lens and negative carrier etc?

I have the original wood and glass 5x7 and a Kodak 6 3/8" Anastigmat f4.5.80627

That lens may not cover 5x7, if that is your intent. The Enlarging Anastigmat 6 3/8" lens is a 4-element lens for 4x5" enlargements. Kodak made a 7 1/2" lens for 5x7, but you will be better off with a modern, six-element 210mm lens.
Don't let me dissuade you from starting printing with that equipment. At low magnifications (like enlarging 5x7 to 8x10) that lens may just cover enough to get a good print.

BTW there is a Kodak Projection Anastigmat 7 1/2 inch on ebay now for only $30. (no relation to seller).

I don't notice any fall off just looking at the projected image, but I don't have any paper bigger than 5x7 to test it.

I am not expecting to make prints larger than 11x14.

Nice,

I have one of these old monsters that's waiting to be set up. I need to reconfigure my darkroom first. Have fun with yours,

Mike
