I have a cambo wide with a panel for a 47mm lens. I tried a 47mm f5.6 super angulon, but that doesnt get to infinity (i even adjusted the helical i think)
Could there be a difference in back focus between lenses or perhaps shutters?

The Cambo Wide was made for the 47mm Super Angulon XL, not the older non-XL 47/5.6. Schneider reports the flange focal distance for the non-XL 47/5.6 to be 51.6mm or 52.2mm depending on which shutter it was made for. The flange focal distance of the 47XL is 59.1mm. A focusing mount for the XL version won't come back far enough to focus the non-XL 47/5.6 at infinity.

Of course, the 47/5.6 lacks the coverage for 4x5, which is why they would have designed it for the XL version, which does cover 4x5.

Ok I see Flange distance of the 47 xL of about 52mm above.
What is the diameter of the rear element and the depth of the rear element. *to figure how far the rear element is from the film/sensor at ~ infinity.
I've tried multiple searches to find the specs.
Rodenstock is nice to still have their specs on the factory page.

Thanks for your time.
