Hello everybody.
I found this lens that sounded interesting.
It's coated, iris full of blades, and there is a Burke & James label sticked on the barrell.
I knew there was a Rembrandt Camera, with a Rembrandt "Portrait" lens... but not a "Pictorial"

I googled around and have not found anything.
From outside it looks similar to a Tessar, even if the rear element looks a couplet.

I will appreciate some notice, or even if somebody could have used it.

Thanks !

There is an old thread here - look under Rembrandt Portrait.
This was listed in B & J's catalogues in the 50's and 60's.
F4.8 was called the Portrait, F4.5 was the Pictorial.
Triplet (suggested in previous thread?) which sharpened up when stopped down.

Thank you
I saw that, but it was quoting the catalog, but there was no catalog...
I just wanted just to have a roadmap to essays... with film going...
Any image or more notice will be appreciated
