Our Rotary District, District 7870 (parts of New Hampshire and Vermont) is having our annual conference in Quebec City this year. I volunteered to do the conference brochure cover and after looking a bunch of publicly available images of Quebec City remain unimpressed. So the pitch, does anyone have an image of Quebec City that they would consider letting us use for the brochure (proper credit will be given)?

Please let me hear from you as soon as possible and thanks in advance. Please email me at tedharris@mac.com.

If you do a google.ca search "Quebec City" you'll find pages and pages and pages of pictures. It's a very picturesque place.

Thanks Andrew, I have looked at several pages there and elsewhere on the web and the main problem is that none of the images is of sufficient resolution to meet my needs, not to mention it is very difficult to find out who owns them. It would be nice to find something original and unfortunately I have nothing of my own of Quebec city except for some deep winter shots on 35mm.

I warned a photographer friend from Québec City who may have some stock shot for you - his name is Dagenais. I also know an amateur who photographed his city a lot - the quality is less, but there are a number of shots to chose from. Asm me for his name if you want to give him a try.

I have't shot a lot in Québec City (and not the main tourist attractions) but you may also want to have a look at this: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=785289&size=lg and this: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2170355&size=lg

Quimby,
have a look at this website (http://www.france-quebec.com/).
Go to "Photos" and look at the second and third photos.
Might be the kind of scenes you're seeking.
Regards.
