This is my first post on the forum, following my (very) recent registration.

My personnal photographic history starts around 1985, when I was 6 years old, a got my first camera: a kodak instamatic. Later, I inherited my father's Pentax ME. More recentely, I was given a baby rolleiflex, found by my father in law in an attic... This was, basically, the beginning of the end :D
After buying 127 film on the internet, to feed the baby rolleiflex, I was rapidly confronted to the problem of getting it developped. So, I started to process myself. To get useful tips about film processing, I registered to a french-speaking forum on analog photography... There, I discoverd a whole new world... Today, I own about 2 dozens (my wife says "at least four dozens") cameras. I also have a small enlarger and I do black and white prints.

Most of all, my most recent camera is a gorgeous Thornton Pickard triple extension view camera, to which I managed to attach a Symmar Lens:

I just love it. It was bought by my uncle several years ago, but he never found the time to buy a lens and use it... I recentely snapped my first pieces of sheet film...

As large format photography is completely new to me, I decided to register to this forum. There is so much to learn...

Cheers !

That looks like a great old camera.

Changing topics, my daughter will be in Belgium for the Flander's Cup judo tournament (http://www.flandersjudocup.be/) in late October.

Thank you all for your messages ! Cosmicexplosion: I think I'll be at the right place in the madhouse :)

I just scanned my first real attempt with this camera, and I'm pretty happy, although there is still room for improvement (in the first place, I sould get a decent scanner - I use a 24x36 scanner to scan strips of the sheet, then I assemble them in Photoshop):

Taken in Switzerland, near the Geneva Lake (Grandvaux is pretty close to Lausanne).
