You wondered about it, it's good. I rolled the dice a while back on E-bay for three boxes of Kodak 4x5 HS infrared film outdated 1977, won the one and only bid w/$25.00, I did some tests, and had it processed by David Wood/DR5, he said it was in 'remarkably good condition', he measured the D-max and said that it was down from 2.4 to 2.0 or 20 percent and for an infrared film that old, that it was a 'miracle', there are some small spots on the negatives but nothing big.

Thanks for reporting, Jonathan. It's amazing that a film that old is still in good shape! 1977 was an excellent vintage as I recall.
