What exactly is the difference between the older Sinaron N and the newer APO Sin aron-N? Specific issues are:

1. Number of elements/groups 2. Image circle

You need to be far more specific.

The difference between a very late N that is multi coated is virtually nothing. The difference between an early N that is not multi coated is substantial.

The difference is not in # of elemnts or circle of coverage. It is in the performa

The lens is a Sironar not a Sina

Bob, if you happen to be watching this, could you give an approximate serial number for the switch?

We don't have the serial number range for the switch and it is not needed.

All Sironar N lenses that are multi coated are marked multi coated on the lens. All that are not multi coated are NOT marked multi coated. There is no doubt or question. It is if it says so it isn't if it doesn't say so.

Same with Granda
