Toyo 810M Field Camera Loose Rear Standard

I acquired a used tan Toyo 810M field camera that when locked down by screwing the two lower black knobs still has play in the rear tilt. Anyone experience this situation that would know how to remedy this short of boxing it up to Toyo service back East?

I'm not sure if the 810M is constructed in the same manner, Michael, but the rear-standard knobs on my Toyo 45AX can be removed by continuing to "unscrew" them. If the 810M is the same, you might try cleaning the mating surfaces with a Q-tip moistened with electrical contact cleaner, or adding a thin, brass shim washer beneath the knob. On the 45AX, at least, it's just a friction hold when the knob is tightened.
