I was in Kansas City today, and it was hitting 104. It was an even 100 at home. Forcast is for the heat to continue for the foreseeable future. I often leave my camera in my car during the week while I'm at work. If it's 100 outside the car, it must be hotter than the hobs of hell inside! How much should I worry about film? I know print film can get a magenta cast, but what about b&w? No organic dyes, but still I'm uneasy. Should I worry about the heat? What could I do to avoid damage to my film? I was thinking of a small cooler with a couple of those plastic freeze things inside to keep the film cool. Am I worrying too much?

Don't leave camera in car in heat, its never good. Nor leaving film is.

Just grab a bag and drag with with you to office. Or leave it at home.

Small cooler will ruin it b/c you get condensation going on.

You can buy huge insulated bags at walmart / samsclub, they will help a bit, but there is only so much insulation can do.

Yea, better to take it with you and get some fresh air. Otherwise you'll see some weird stuff when processed.
