I am looking to purchase some : Provia 100F RDP III 4 X 5 Quickload Film. I am looking to purchase some of this film that is outdated/expired so I can afford more.

Does anyone know in general the best websites/stores to purchase outdated/expired film? Please give me the links/store names.

Also does anyone have any tricks to acquire this film strait from the manufacturer or distributor, please let me know these paths.

I appreciate it.

Dave

I have had good luck with Freestyle in LA.

freestylecamera.com in L.A. is a good source for out-of-date color transparency film that has been cold stored and is usually pretty good in my experience, but I don't know that I've seen Quickloads there. Check the "clearance specials" If you want to save money for more film, one option is to give up the convenience of Quickloads.

If you are really strapped for film costs, do yourself a favor and take the "Readyload" monkey off of your back. You can shoot twice the quantity of regular sheet film versus the pre-packaged stuff. I personally would not want to shoot out of date film unless I know for a fact that it has been stored in a controlled environment.

Calumet sometimes has out of date film, but the problem is that popular types of film I shoot is rarely offered for discount sales. I have never seen readyloads for out of date sale anywhere.

The more you shoot, the better shooter you will become. Cheers!
