I recently got a Kodak Portrait Lens 305mm (12in.) f4.8in a Kodak #5 Universal Synchro Shutter.
Probably paid too much, shrug, I'm an idiot for soft lenses, sigh...
It was advertised with the shutter speeds being slow.
I don't currently have a shutter speed tester.
I'm finding it hangs in the 25 position, otherwise works okay.
Who could I send this to test and CLA?

Send it to Frank Marshman in VA. If it needs parts, he should have them. He does good work too. I usually get a 1-2 week turnaround from him.
He bought up the stock of Ilex parts when Graflex's official support of Ilex shutters went belly up.

Why "Har har har"?

Because that's what Eddie says. I sensed that. My precognitive powers are pretty damn amazing this close to midnight... or Eddie is just consistent.

Don't feel bad. I have been trying to buy a reasonably priced Kodak Portrait lens for a couple years now. It seems that no one thinks 3 or 4 hundred dollars is reasonable! ;)

Excellent lens, I hope you enjoy it!

I have an Ilex 5 (for 14" CE) with Carol Miller at Flutot's right now. Also a Copal 1. In the past she's saved a rim set compur - two years on it still works great.

Louis, I'm still watching all the local used car ads for the lady whose getting divorced and selling her husband's prized Porshe for $100.00.
