Hello everyone!

I recently purchased a new Shen-Hao HZX 4X5-IIA camera and noticed that there was something odd with the front end of the bellows. Attached is a picture:

When folding up the camera, the bellows at the front don't always align properly due to this. It was this way when I purchased it.

Surely the bellows aren't supposed to look like this?

Many thanks!

"Universal" bellow. Allows more movements with short focal length lenses.

Just be careful folding them for a while. They should end up with a "memory" eventually.

Thank you Lachlan, that seems to be the case. I just checked the front end of the bellows and they are indeed missing the pleats
