I was at Badger Graphic's site to order some Ilford when I came across this news. Here's the link to Fujifilm USA's notice:

Badger Graphic's site says the increase will be double digit and world wide.

If it keeps Acros on the market I'll gladly pay it. :)

+1.

If only Fuji did an Acros ULF run like Ilford does...

The new 5d is 33% more expensive than the RRP of the old model, almost double the street price. It's interesting that increases in film prices make doom laden headline news but DSLR price increases pass by with barely a murmur. Advertiser influence anyone?

If I shot Fuji, I'd stock up for the summer!

Unfortunately Acros is already out of my price range for 4x5, but maybe I'll stock up on 120...

If they'd keep making Astia I'd pay double for it.

You might want to stock up on Fuji Instant Film in 4x5, as both the 3000 B&W and 100 Color have been discontinued. Fuji informed the buying office at my job (Pro Photo, in Portland) of this last Monday. The buyers were told, "There is no stock left on either 4x5 instant film at our (Fuji's) warehouse, and there will be no more shipments of either 4x5 instant film in the future."

At this point I don't think that a film price increase is news. The real news would be if a few months went by without a price increase.

Yea, the good old days of cheap color film are over. Time to stock up on some Astia.
