Hi,

I see references to density readings expressed as decimals like 0.12 ...

Yet the 361T has a percentage reading.

I can't see anything in the instructions to make it display anything other than percentages (I may be wrong because the manual is rather difficult to read)

Can someone enlighten me please ? Why is there very little reference to percentages in literature if the below is the case ?

------

Having written this post I guess I'm going to be told that 0.12 is 12 % ...

Cheers,

Steve

Yes, read the manual, switching from +dot (%) to density (D) is one of the settings (page 2-2).

That said, it is advisable to stick to density - % dot is rather indefinite towards the extremes, and not really up to the contrast ranges modern large format film is capable of.

Work with densities, percentages are crazy.
