Hi, i'm excited to be one of Large Format forum, I'm interested in photography specially outdoor photography.
Therefore for who are interested in enhancing their photographs' quality and sensation through predicting the location of the sun before the photo shoot, I have used this application which is called "SunPhos".

SunPhos graphically predicts sun path from dusk to dawn, on any given day, in any given place. It also provides you with valuable information like day length, sun rise & sun set, golden hour, twilight and more through a daily report. In addition to that you can select the location of your photo shoot then the application provides you with the time during which the Sun will be in the skies over that location.

Check it here http://www.amazon.com/Symbyo-Technologies-SunPhos/dp/B007W5BY7E/ref=sr_1_1?s=mobile-apps&ie=UTF8&qid=1335768674&sr=1-1

I want to hear from you about your opinion in this app!

Just what we need, an app that will tell you where the sun is between dusk and dawn. Makes as much sense as most apps.

My opinion?? It's worthless.

According to the copy, it predicts the sun's path only after it sets. "Dusk to dawn".

I'd like an app that locates spammers. (grinning smiley) Do you think it really lives at 200 W.47th St??

Or can even see the sun from there?

I've heard that NYC is "where the sun don't shine".

Think someone should report this thread, or shall we have more fun with it?
Maybe write a spam deleting app....

Helios is an excellent app for the iPhone & iPad. I use it quite often.

I use an almanac. Works without batteries, connectivity, phone plans, etc.
