Hey,

I did a few searches and I've found a variation of responses for Tri-X in Xtol 1:1.

I've seen a ratings from 640 all the way down to 160.

I develop in trays. 4-6 sheets at a time. Constant agitation.

Anyone care to give me a starting point for this method? (It'll be thrown under an aristo cold light head if that makes a difference.)

I'm interested in this too, as I just bought some XTOL to try with TriX. Eagerly await words of wisdom.

Rate the film at 200, then give it 8 minutes in Xtol 1:1 or 11 minutes at 1:3 (I like 1:3).
Use at least 100ml of stock developer per 80 sq. in. of film.
Shoot a test sheet before committing to this.

With XTOL, always start at box speed. Adjust as needed.
