Maybe this is not the right area, but I will give it a shot. I am going to tour the western US for about three weeks . Shooting the 4x5 . Do you process any of you film while traveling, wait until you get back or what. I am nervous because i plan shooting alot of film . maybe every couple of days getting a room and processing the B&W at least. Opinions or thoughts are most welcome craig

I always store my exposed film until I return home.

I too keep exposed film for development after I get back to my darkroom. But I check everything, film batch, lenses, shutters, meters, with actual shooting tests before I go. And I recalibrate my darkroom chemistry before starting in on my holiday snaps. Properly stored developer usually does not die unexpectedly in the bottle but I want to be sure.
