7x17 film size.

Considering to make a 7x17 film holder by myself using two old 6.5 x 8.3/4 " ones does anyone here know the exact size in mm of the 7x17 sheet and the film holder as well ? Any answer will be very appreciate. Thank you very much! Luca M.

There is no ANSI standard for this format but with most film holders that I have seen the slot for the film is exactly 7X17". This means that in order to fit well without binding the film itself should be cut 1/16" - 1/32" smaller.
