Jobo CPP Lift problem

I just picked up a Jobo CPP-2 with lift at an auction for only $35, so I was pretty happy about that. Everything seems to work I just need to clean the pump. It was very dirty there was even hunks of drywall down in the reservoir but it is cleaning up great. The lift was set up to use the smaller drums and I will be using the larger 3000 drums. So I have moved the Outlet Selection Lever to the upper position, but when I pour in water to test its function, about 3/4 of the water still comes out the lower outlet, and 1/4 goes into the drum. Also does the unit have to be hooked up to a water suply or can you just fill it with water. So thats my problem for now, any help would be great.

That lever has to click into position otherwise you get your results.
No water hookup needed.
That's for cold water in warm rooms if you need 68 degrees.

Thanks Vinny I tried snapping the outlet lever back and forth, and it went into its propper location. Now it works the way it should, you just dont know how much force you can use when dealing with plastic parts. Also I cant find where they put the serial number?

I've done that....totally over exposed bottom 1/4 of the chromes.... yikes!!

Not only just $35, it also came with an Omega 6x7 enlarger, 5 jobo drums 1500&2800, Canon F1 stuff, etc. It was two stationwagons full, it was a good day.

Wow, and then some!!

The S/N is on a sticker on the rear of the machine, behind the actual motor assembly.

Your missing the red cap for sealing the lower spout or just not using it. I have a few extras and can sell you one if needed.

From the description, this would appear be the earlier lift with the sliding selection "switch". It also probably has the older, white tank clips. I have this on my CPA, whilst my CPP has the newer, plugged system.

Do the red plugs work on the earlier lifts?

The nipples are the same :0)

The serial # is 11540 which is from the second run of units with the double bearing motor, and it does have the white clips.
