Is there a lens that's not slower than f/5.6 but is wider than 150mm for 8x10?

Interesting thing is, when looking at various (but mostly incomplete) lens lists published online, there doesn't seem to be anything that falls in between the Nikkor SW 120/8 an a SS XL 150/5.6.

Also, does this mean the SS XL 150/5.6 and the lesser known Aviogon 150/5.6 are the widest 8x10 lenses that come with a max f-number that's not slower than f/5.6?

Would like to hear more on this...

I believe you mean max aperture that's not slower than f/5.6.
The f-number in that question is 5.6, not f/5.6.

My database (not all-inclusive, and lacking any vintage lenses) shows nothing that meet your criteria.
I checked the Schneider datasheet, which lists all of the Super Symmar Aspheric XL lenses... nothing.

Yes, I think I've had a look at your database. Thanks for making it available to us.

That is correct. Thanks for pointing it out... little things like that go unnoticed most of the time.
