For the month of April, Spectrum Gallery will host a collection of iconic images on loan from the Willem Photographic Gallery in Monterey, Ca.. Many of these images represent a crossover of classic art and commerce. The time span represented shows a fascinating progression of both aesthetics and technology in how the photographs were executed.
The exhibit runs from April 5th through the 29th.
Please join us on April 7th for a reception and gallery talk by Brooke Gabrielson ( owner of the Willem Photographic Gallery ). He will discuss the stories behind the images. Reception hours are from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Spectrum Gallery is at 608 East Olive Ave. in Fresno, Ca. Hours are Thurs. 12 - 5:30, Fri. 12:30 to 8:00, Sat/Sun 11:00 to 5:00.
Spectrum Gallery is a 501c3 non profit cooperative showing fine art photography since 1979.

Large format tie in - not only did Avedon, Beaton, Penn, et al use large format, but for my general
orientation, we also have work by Adams and Loranc as part of this exhibit...
