View Full Version : Does anybody have any info on this B and J camera?

I'm looking at buying it based on the photos, but i'm not sure if it would be useable.
Seems to be a lot of extra parts...not quite sure what most of them are.
I can't seem to find much about it online, so any info that anyone could provide would be appreciated.

I've seen older (and bigger) cameras of similar design that advertised an enlarging option. That door on the side of the middle section is an easy identifier for that. I don't have any B&J documentation to offer a model name/number, but I'm sure this feature narrows the field of options you can choose from.

It's a Reducing and Enlarging Camera They were made in various sizes and They can be used as a studio camera but no back movements and with all extension rails in place it's very long so hard to find a appropriate stand but it can be done for sure.

I also did not see a large ground glass back with the linked photos, something to think about. Lots of interesting plate holders though.

Here are three different cameras. The Ingento is Burk & James trade name.
