I just bought a huge film dryer by Pako. It's about the size of a refrigerator. I don't even know how the hell I'm going to get it home. Bought it for $25 from a Museum cleaning out their dark room. It's in good condition and even comes with the original paperwork.

I can't wait to buy another CB7 they're selling too. Can't have too many enlarers now can you?

Hi, my name is Joe. And I have a problem.

you could always keep it outside and smoke fish in it.

No. I quit smoking. How would you even do that?

Very large papers, ala Cheech and Chongs "Big Bamboo"!

Used to use one of those, dry 18 rolls of 35mm at a time, or 24 sheets of 8 1/2 x 11 litho film (another almost extinct species). Only thing to use if you are processing large film to keep the dust off. Had to be tall because 36 exp 35mm was about 5 1/2 ft of film. A good buy but you have to rent a van to get it home.

How does a print dryer DRY. It sounds big. My condolences. Scott.

I have one of those film dryers from California Steel. They're wonderful! I strapped to the cargo rails on the top of my Xterra and got it home that way. We drove it nearly 250 miles that way, and everywhere we stopped, peopled asked me what the heck it was. That wasn't as bad as when I picked up my Cambo UST studio stand. I strapped it to the top and carried it that way as well. The wind going down that tube made a VERY loud 60 cycle howl with very deep subharmonics. I got pulled over in Vergennes carting that one home. But when he saw it wasn't a weapon, he let me go.

My name is Michael, and I, too, have a problem.
