Anyone know where I can find a Devil level? I saw one in my view camera technique book and can't find it anywhere.

It is a small translucent level/angle finder. Looks like a handy little device.

Do you have a picture or drawing?

Yes, a picture would be nice. Not even Miss Google was very helpful.

No I did not find one and would likely take it at the right price if the condition is excellent. PM incoming.

Did you notice the previous thread? Devil Level per se was an old brand el cheapo device.
There are some much nicer pendulum levels around.

No, actually I had not seen that thread. I will review it, thanks.

Hi David,

You might peruse the levels at McMaster-Carr www.mcmaster.com

They have a wide variety of styles and prices. Just enter levels in the search box at upper left and hit Enter.

Perfect, thanks again Leigh. The angle finder/level is the one I was looking for. They have fair prices too!

I must admit one of the more useful purchases I have made is the cheapy laser torpedo level with measuring tape I got from ebay similar to item no 270993594614.

I use the level as a level & the measuring tape for bellows factor, I haven't found a use yet for the laser part yet though.

Hi David,

Glad you found what you wanted.

McM is a great company to deal with, been around over 100 years.
Most of the products are Made in USA, almost none in china.

They're my first choice for any product they carry.
I don't even shop around, because I know I won't find better value anywhere.
