The weather is quite mixed up here in Florida. I presume that it is in Texas also. Wonder when the Blue Bonnets will be blooming this year in the hill country?

Mild winter, average or bit above average rain in Austin. Bluebonnets already in bloom on sunny slopes. Density of plants probably lower than usual due to lack of heavy frost during winter months. Peak maybe around Mar. 28 to Apr. 15. Still expect a good display in favourable areas.

Bluebonnets have started in Dallas-Fort Worth. Really dry last year until about Thanksgiving, since then we had a nice mild winter with decent rain. Might be a good year.

Right now and the best I've seen this past week are in the Llano area, just finished spring break.
