Smallest 4x5 daylight developing tank?

I would like to do some stand processing, and would like the smallest possible 4x5 saylight developing tank. Your suggestions? I would like to use minimal chemistry...

I made one that uses 35ml of solution for a single 4x5 sheet, but it's not production-ready yet. I think the final version will have a larger chemical capacity-- maybe 50ml, or so.

Interesting. Seems like this would be very promising for field development with a monobath developer. Basically instant negative- if you could find a way to load it in the field.

Don't know about the smallest but 4 Tacos in a Paterson 2-reeler needs 800 ml or 200 ml/sheet, agitate or stand.

6 sheets (some skinflints do 12 back to back) in a combiplan uses about 1 quart of liquid.

I wish there were something in 8x10 for daylight developing with minimal volume.

That's pretty hardcore, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I develop 5 at a time, taco method in a ss tank. Takes 800mm chemistry, I use the small rubber bands that just fit around your pinky. I have not done it yet but your could do 10 if you did two levels in a tall tank.

A Paterson Orbital will develop 4-4x5, or 2-5x7 or 1-8x10 with 70ml developer (actually 60ml, but I use 70).

What kind of developer? I was using D76 which they specify 250ml per sheet.

You can use remarkably little chemistry with the Paterson Orbital, but using the recommended minimum usually implies continuous wobbling ;) (orbital agitation).

The risk with doing stand processing with the orbital is that your sheet(s) could just float, unless you had a way of weighing the sheet(s) down.

i just bought a Jobo 2820, it can be used for stand dev if i get a reel..

why the need for stand dev? uisng compensating developer?

Bend the negative like a taco shell, put a rubber band around it, and drop several into a 35mm or 120 daylight developing tank. (I think)
