I have a 4x5 "Baby" Deardorff, which I would like to sell. I bought it about 20 years ago and never got around to using it. I don't know much about it, except that they were made in the 30's until 1949. I don't know how many were made, or its value, as I can't see any for sale. Any information will help.
Thanks,
Dick Arentz

Dick, There are 3 versions. Post some images of it so I can tell you when it was made. And look on my site too.

Ken,
I had already checked your web site. Thanks for answering. I uploaded an image, but, being new at this, I'm not sure that it made it. FYI the camera has no front swing,

No babys had Front swings. The image did not make it. Be sure you click add picture,

Easy now that I see it. Its a 42 to 49 version with the late decal so around 45-49.

Any idea what it is worth? It is in fair condition. It apparently was a working camera rather than a museum piece.

Dick I'm sending you a private message. Baby Deardorffs are users. Not Museum cameras. They are great.
