Apo-Ronar 9/150

Hello Friends,

I've just hold a Apo-Ronar 1:9 /150 in my hands and wants to take some 1:1 shots on 4x5.
Does anybody use that lens and know what f/stop would gave me the sharpest detail?

I just test it on f64 and it was bluring.

Rodentstock's Process Lens Manual recommends using f/22 at 1:1 (f/32 for focal lengths longer than 760 mm). If f/22 doesn't get you as much depth of field as you want, you'll have to experiment to see whether you can get the DoF and sharpness you want at a smaller stop. Odds are that you can't. The reason is that at f/22 (set, f/45 effective) the diffraction blur disk is nearly as large as a reasonable CoC.

Um, my copy came from Joerg Krusche (to who all credit is due) via Emmanuel Bigler (to whom all credit is also due). I believe that Emmanuel has posted it and the other documents that Joerg provided and has published a link to them on the French LF site. This is no good to you.
