I would like to know if there is a lens in the 210 to 250 range that could be mounted on a Copal 0.

Thanks

Luis

Probably only the slow process lenses. How much coverage do you need?

Luis,

I do know that the Nikkor 200M f8 (just a little short of 210) is a copal 0 and the Fuji 240A f9 is also a copal 0. Jim

Schneider Apo-Digitar 210/5.6 and Rodenstock 210/5.6 Apo-Sironar . Not exactly cheap.
Rodenstock also comes in 240mm version. #0 as well

Sorry, but the Rodenstock 210mm APO Sironar S comes in a #1 Copal shutter (see here (https://www.badgergraphic.com/store/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=228))

The Rodenstock 240mm APO Sironar S comes in a #3 Copal shutter (see here (https://www.badgergraphic.com/store/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=229))

Yes, and they are superb lenses: "killer" sharp as they say.

The 200M is even smaller and lighter than the 240A, small enough to be stored inside a closed Linhof Technika (read John Sexton (http://www.photovisionmagazine.com/articles/sexton.html)'s description) or a Tachihara field camera see illustration (http://www.kenleegallery.com/html/tech/Nikkor200MTachihara.php). Both take 52mm filters.

From the non-forum part of this very site:

http://www.largeformatphotography.info/lenses/LF4x5in.html

As mentioned, the only ones that qualify are the Nikkor 200/8 and Fuji 240/9

But that chart also shows weights, should you find a lens in a Copal 1 that suits your needs instead.

Nope. Sorry.

As Ken said, the Apo-Sironar 210/5.6 is in a Copal 1, and the 240/5.6 is in a Copal 3.

I have both lenses (in the Apo-Sironar-N version).

The only lenses in my database in your FL range in Copal 0 shutters are:

Fujinon A 240/9, which is supposed to be a superb lens (I don't own one), and the
Nikkor M 200/8, which is an Apo like the Fujinon A and also an outstanding lens.

My bad.. I actually do have that 210/5.6 rodenstock in #1, but i thought i saw somewhere it was offered in #0, can't remember where and now i can't find it. Must be totally daydreaming.
