I have access to an Epson 7880 at work, running Shiraz RIP... and, well, it hasn't really given me anything remotely close to color correct prints yet.
I have read some - but certainly not all in here - about the Epson 3880 and my 'workflow' has been this:
- adjust image to my liking on my calibrated monitor
- 'convert-to-profile' in PS, assigning the epson 7880 icc-profile to the picture
- soft proof on screen
- print via Shiraz RIP using a high-quality preset for the used paper...
I think (and it might be painfully obvious to the experienced among you) that I do something wrong in the RIP... please enlighten me
... thanks
