Chamonix Linhof Compatibility?

Hi,

I have just ordered a 8x10 from Hugo with a Sinar to Linhof reduction panel.

I saw some comments online suggesting some Linhof type lens panels will not fit Chamonix cameras. Is there any way or being sure which will and which won't?

I have a bunch of generic Linhof type panels used on a Walker camera and they are from Mike Walker, with central holes rather than the lower than centre ones. Does anyone know if they will fit, or will I have to order new boards to use on the chamonix?

Most of the thinner linhof copies work fine. It's the thicker ones I've tried that don't work. If it's a nikon, wista, linhof branded, they do work. Wait and see, you should be fine.

I should be able to wait.... just want to use it asap and not have to wait two weeks to get new boards send to my far flung address. I guess only trying them will give me the answer I need.
