Hi all, need help to understand if is possible to calibrate the focus for this scanner.
Got it used but in really good shape looks like new, so now I can scan my 8x10 transparency.
I tried to scan 8x10 negative on top of the glass tray, also 4x5 and 35mm. with the spacial film support.
all the images look kind of blur, ...way to soft compare to what I can see with the 8x loope.
Is there a way to adjust the focus with the software? do I do something wrong?
I installed the ScanWizard Pro 7 and I can do all the adjustments, except for focusing.
I never had problems with other Epson scanners...
Thank you for your help in advance.
Sal

Hi Sal,

I used to own the Microtek i900 about 4 years ago, which I had for 3 years. To the best of my knowledge there is no way to calibrate the focus on the i900 scanner, its possible that it could be out of adjustment but you would likely have to inquire with Microtek, the updated Microtek M1 has an auto focus feature.
