Finding film for a full plate camera is a problem. I have ordered in Ilford’s once a year special cut, but that is really not the answer. Cutting 8x10 film is not the answer either. Purchasing by the roll in either width would be simple.
Does anyone know if film could be purchased in this width and if so,
the type.
Thanks, look forward to replys.

I'm a whole-plate user as well. I can't answer your question about roll film, but if you run out of film between the Ilford orders, FP4+ and HP5+ can be found from a few retailers. Rob Skeoch in Canada, http://bigcameraworkshops.com/, is one, and Glazer's in Seattle is another. I ordered from Glazer's out of the blue one time and they had their distributor drop-ship me 100 sheets. I had it in 3 days. Rob has both films in stock right now according to his website, Glazer's lists it as out-of-stock, but it's worth a phone call to see if they can get it for you.

Peter, Thanks I will keep this info for future use. I still love to see if anyone know if bulk roll film could be purchased in either width.

Cutting down 7x17 is fairly easy also.
