Where do I get lensboards?

Hi

I'm looking for Linhoff Technika III lensboards for two lenses and shutters. They are:

Fujinon W 250mm f6.7 (Seiko shutter)
Schneider Super Symmar XL 110mm f5.6 Aspherical (Copal 1)

I've looked on e-bay but can't make any sense of what is being offered and most of them listed for Linhoff don't appear compatible with the Technika III.

Can anyone tell me where I find the right lensboards, and what

Take a look at the listings on KEH www.keh.com
They have a huge assortment of lens boards at decent prices.

Note that the mounting hole diameter for Copal shutters is a bit larger than the thread
diameter on the back of the shutter due to a ridge on the retaining ring. The same may
be true for the Seiko, but I don't know since I've never mounted one.

You'll need a lens wrench to mount/dis-mount a shutter.

There are slight differences between the products. The Toyo supports Seiko shutters, but not the Copal #3.

If you buy a used lens, make sure it includes the retaining ring and both lens caps. These can be expensive if missing.
The lenses at KEH always include the ring, and have caps if the notation "with caps" appears in the description.

some guy has a stack of blank, generic tech III boards on ebay..you'd have to drill yourself though

they used to be easy to find..but have been getting harder, and more expensive


the newer, black tech IV and later boards will not fit a tech III camera..so make sure there are tech III
