Now that I've sorted out the temperture of water when mixing stock A I've noticed that Sandy King states that HP5+ should be developed in a dilution of 2:2:100 instead of 1:1:100. If for 1:1:100 I use 5ml + 5ml + 500ml water, then the 2:2:100 would be 10ml + 10ml + 1000ml water. Aren't these the same with more solution being the only difference with 2:2:100? Am I missing something here?

2:2:100 would be:

10ml of A 10ml of B 500ml water

You do not double the water.

In my JOBO since I need specific final quantities for the drums, I iterate with the quantities to get the same ratios.

Now I get it! Thanks for your help!

Andrew Please inform where Sandy King states the use of Pyrocat-HD 2:2:100 dilution for HP5+.
